A Knitted Birdie

I know I know, I have been knitting a whole lot lately. I promise to put a tutorial up soon, but when I saw this pattern I couldn't resist. Who could say no to that cute wittle face?

I sure couldn't! So out came this little cutie pie stuffed birdie! It seriously didn't take long at all! It is a very entertaining project to see it transform before your eyes. This is a perfect gift for a little one or even a grown up! You can find the pattern here. Have fun (I sure did)!

A Knitted Scarfy Thingy and A Happy Thanksgiving

First of all I would just like to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I hope your day is stuffed full of turkey!

On the crafty side of things, I knitted this fun little scarf thingy! It is warm and comfortable at the same time. (That never happens. Right?) You can find this pattern here. It is another Ravelry pattern so make sure you sign up! (If you missed my post earlier about Ravelry you can find it here). Just a note, the pattern calls for a size 15 US needles. I used a size 10 1/2 with a bulky yarn and they worked fine. (Maybe even better :-)

Knitted Ballet Slippers

Okay, I am super excited about these slippers. This is another pattern that I found on the good old internet. Actually I think this would be a great time to introduce the best knitting pattern database out there ravelry.com. It is awesome! It is free to sign up and a lot of the patterns are free as well. Here is the link to the FREE pattern I found. Try it out!
